This year for Mulligan'ss Pub's 3rd Annual PBR Art Contest, I'll be entering a piece. The theme: 2001: A Space Odyssey.
I've chosen to work on a 24"x24" wood panel with oil paints. The image you see to the left is the image I will be using as a parody. How I will present it, you will have to wait and see :)
Unfortunately, due to time constraints, I've been unable to start this until today. It's due at the bar on Tuesday, the 7th. I have less than a week to complete this painting. I know I can do it, though.
For those of you who live in Grand Rapids, MI. Head on over to Mulligan's Pub in Eastown on Wednesday, December 8th from 6pm to 10pm to check out my painting and all the other talented local artists entering the contest!
